18. ¿Adopta su país medidas para asegurar que todas las armas pequeñas y las armas ligeras en poder de las fuerzas armadas y de seguridad del Estado para su propio uso estén debidamente marcadas? SI

18.1. 18.1 Sírvase describir las marcas que se aplican a las armas en poder de las fuerzas armadas y de seguridad del Estado.

Para la importación de las armas de fuego de uso privativo de los órganos de defensa y seguridad del Estado, la persona física y/o jurídica, además de cumplir con las exigencias mencionadas precedentemente en materia de importación, deberán adjuntar a la solicitud de autorización para dicha importación los documentos que avalen que el USUARIO FINAL de estas armas de fuego es efectivamente un órgano de defensa o seguridad del Estado. Una vez que estos materiales son ingresados al país, son sometidos a un estricto proceso de control por parte de la DIMABEL para comprabar que lleguen al usuario final.

18.1. Describe the markings that are applied to government-held stocks.

For the import of firearms for private use of the defence and security agencies of the State, the individual and/or legal person, in addition to complying with the import requirements previously mentioned, must submit along with the authorisation application, for the said import, the documents establishing that the END USER of these firearms is actually a defense or security agency of the State. Once these materials enter the country, they are submitted to a strict control process from DIMABEL to ensure that they reach the end user.
