20.1. What records relating to SALW are kept by the State (e.g. manufacturing, brokering, import and export licences granted, sales to other States, SALW held by State agencies such as the armed forces etc)?
All information related to the commerce, carrying and possession of firearms is registered in the National Firearms System (SISNA), which is an advanced technology platform, whose database and processes are released and updated constantly, in addition to enabling links with other institutions for crime prevention.
