En los artículos 211 y 212 del Código Penal cubano, se tipifican conductas delictivas relacionadas con el que sin autorización legal, adquiera, porte o tenga en su poder armas de fuego, así como el que las fabrique, venda o de calquier modo se las facilite a otro.

Al propio tiempo, se especifica que, aún teniéndose autorización legal para portar un arma de fuego, esta no debe portarse en lugar u ocasión en que se prohíba por disposición del órgano estatal competente, ni debe prestarse o procurarse a otro.

Cuban Criminal Code on Unauthorised Small Arms and Light Weapons

Under articles 211 and 212 of the Cuban Criminal Code, the acquisition, carrying or possession, as well as the manufacture, sell or transfer of firearms without a permit are condemned as criminal offences.

In parallel, it is stipulated that, even if holding a lawful authorisation to carry a firearm, one cannot carry it in a place or at an event where it has been prohibited to do so under a provision from the competent authority, nor should it be given or transferred to someone else.
