Artículo 55. Permiso especial de portación

El permiso especial de portación de armas permitidas señalado en el artículo 37 de la ley, faculta al autorizado, para portar el arma cargada en poblado para su defensa personal. Procederá cuando la vida de la persona autorizada estuviera razonablemente expuesta al peligro. Dicho permiso tendrá una vigencia de un año y podrá ser renovado por periodos iguales.

Article 55. Special Carrying Permit

The special permit to carry firearms, indicated in Article 37 of the Act, authorises [the holder] to carry a loaded firearm for personal defence in inhabited areas. The permit may be granted when the life of the authorised person is reasonably exposed to danger. The permit shall be valid for one year and may be renewed for similar periods.
