Section 6. Section 15 replaced

Section 15 of the principal Ordinance [Firearms Ordinance, Chapter 126, 1957] is replaced as follows:

15. Penalty for altering etc. the identifying mark of a firearm

(1) A person who wilfully obliterates or defaces, or alters, counterfeits or forges the identifying mark on any firearm licensed under this Act, commits an offence and is liable:

(a) on summary conviction to a fine of not less than fifty thousand dollars or imprisonment for a term of not less than five years or both; or
(b) on conviction on indictment to a fine of not less than eighty thousand dollars or imprisonment for a term of not less than eight years or both…
