Articulo 83. Libro de Registro para Comercio

Con arreglo al artículo 991 de la Ley, las personas naturales y jurídicas autorizadas con licencia de uso comercial, llevarán un libro de entrada y salida de armas de fuego y municiones, en el que harán constar como mínimo, lo siguiente:

- Fecha
- Ingreso de armamento y municiones, procedencia y características
- Nombre, apellido y cédula de identidad de los adquirentes
- Características de las armas vendidas
- Número de factura

Los autorizados deben remitir a la DAEM un informe mensual del movimiento de mercadería indicando como mínimo, ingresos del período, ventas del período y saldo actual, indicando de forma detallada las armas vendidas señalando marca, modelo, serie, calibre, país de fabricación, y calibre, cantidad de municiones; datos específicos del adquirente que señale nombre y apellidos, numero de cédula, dirección actual y fecha de la transacción.

Article 83. Dealer Record Keeping

In accordance with Article 991 of the Act, individuals and legal persons with a dealer licence must keep a record of the entries and exits of firearms and ammunition, in which they must at least record the following:

- Date
- Entry [or exit] of firearms and ammunition, origins and characteristics
- Name, surname and identity card of the buyers
- Characteristics of the sold firearms
- Receipt number

Authorised [dealers] must remit to DAEM a monthly report on the movements of products which lists, at the very least, monthly entries, sales during the period and current balance, detailing the sold firearms by highlighting the make, model, serial number, calibre, country of manufacture, and calibre and quantity of ammunition; specific information on the buyer including his name and surname(s), identity card, current address and date of the transaction.
