Articulo 4. Estructura Organizativa de la DAEM

La Dirección de Registro y Control de Armas de Fuego, Municiones, Explosivos y Materiales Relacionados (DAEM), es una especialidad de la Policía Nacional con representación en las diferentes delegaciones descentralizadas de la Institución Policial, por medio de la cual, se ejerce la facultad de autoridad de aplicación de la Ley y el Reglamento.

El Director General de la Policía Nacional por medio de disposición interna
establecerá la estructura organizativa y funcional conforme la demanda y características de la especialidad y cada delegación policial.

Article 4. Organisational Structure of the DAEM

The Directorate for the Registration and Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Materials (DAEM), is a body of the National Police that has representatives in the different decentralised delegations of the Police Institutions, which exercises the power to enforce the Act and Regulation.

The Director-General of the National Police shall establish, through an internal provision, the structural and functional organisation in accordance with the demand and features of each police delegation.
