En el caso de las personas naturales mayores de 21 años que deseen introducir armas de fuego de uso civil, se les permitirá por única sola vez y solamente para su uso personal, un máximo de hasta dos armas de fuego con su respectiva factura de compra, previa solicitud de internación al país, la que debe de ser emitida por la Dirección de Control de Armas de Fuego, Explosivos, y Materiales Relacionados de la Policía Nacional para su posterior tramitación de la licencia respectiva.

Article 101. Importation of Firearms by Individuals

Individuals over the age of 21 years who desire to import firearms for civilian use may be authorised to do so for only once and only for personal use, for a maximum of two firearms, along with the corresponding purchase invoice, upon request of admission into the country, which must be issued by the Directorate for the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Materials of the National Police, for the licence to be further processed.
