Artículo 35. Procedimiento de registro de armas importadas

El importador deberá, a su costo, remitir todas las armas importadas a la DIGECAM, con el objeto que se tomen las huellas balísticas y se emitan tarjetas de tenencia a nombre del importador.

Cuando las armas ingresen al país con el propósito de ser comercializadas deberán ser marcadas por la DIGECAM con las letras GUA, a costo del importador.

Article 35. Procedure for Registration of Imported Firearms

The importer shall, at their own expense, remit all imported firearms to DIGECAM, with the aim of conducting ballistic tests and issuing a firearm licence on behalf of the importer.

Firearms entering the country with the purpose of being commercialised should be marked by DIGECAM with the letters 'GUA', at the expense of the importer.
