Articulo 74. Registro de Control a Armerías de Reparación de Armas de Fuego y/o Recarga de Municiones de Uso Civil

Las armerías dedicadas a la reparación y/o recarga de armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de uso civil deben llevar un registro de control diario de los servicios prestados, que contenga la siguiente información:

1. Nombre del propietario y número de licencia de tenencia, portación y uso;
2. Número de matrícula, marca, número de serie y calibre del arma de fuego;
3. Descripción y fecha del servicio prestado;
4. Firma del cliente.

Las armerías dedicadas a la reparación y/o recarga de armas de fuego, municiones y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados de· uso civil, deberán presentar trimestralmente al IITCUP el registro de control diario, firmado por su representante legal hasta el quinto día hábil del siguiente mes, por escrito o en medios informáticos, registro que tiene calidad de declaración jurada.

La reparación de armas de fuego y/o recarga de munición de uso civil sin requerir la licencia de tenencia, portación y uso y la matriculo dará lugar a la revocación de la autorización de funcionamiento de la armería y el decomiso del arma de fuego, sin perjuicio de iniciar las acciones legales correspondientes

Supreme Decree No. 2175, Regulation of the Act No. 400 on the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and other Related Materials

Article 74. Control Register of Gunshops Dedicated to the Repair and/or Reloading of Firearms and Ammunition for Civil Use

Gunshops [armouries] dedicated to the repair and/or reloading of firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use must keep a daily control register of their services, which must include the following information:

1. Name of the owner and number of the licence to possess, carry and use firearms;
2. Registration number, brand, serial number and calibre of the firearm;
3. Description and date of the service provided;
4. Signature of the customer.

Gunshops [armouries] dedicated to the repair and/or reloading of firearms, ammunition and other related items and materials for civil use must submit every three months the daily control register to IITCUP, signed by their legal representative, by the fifth working day of the following month, in written or electronic form. The register counts as a sworn declaration.

Repair of firearms and/or reloading of ammunition for civil use, without requesting a licence to possess, carry and use and a registration number, shall lead to revocation of the gunshop's functioning authorisation and seizure of the firearm, independently of corresponding legal actions.
