Articulo 70. Licencia especial para actividades de intermediación

Los particulares que deseen dedicarse a las actividades de intermediación o corretaje de armas de fuego, municiones y materiales relacionados deberán solicitar una licencia especial a la DIASP, que les será otorgada siempre que cumplan con los siguientes requisitos:

1. Hacer la solicitud correspondiente…a la DIASP.
2. Ser panameño por nacimiento o naturalización.
3. Ser mayor de dieciocho años.
4. Presentar copia auténtica de la cédula de identidad personal.
5. No haber sido condenado por un tribunal competente por delitos contra la vida y la integridad personal, delitos contra la libertad, delitos contra la libertad e integridad sexual, delitos contra el orden jurídico familiar y el estado civil, delitos contra el patrimonio económico, delitos contra la seguridad colectiva, delitos contra la personalidad jurídica del Estado o delitos contra la humanidad.
6. Pagar la tasa de la licencia.

Article 70. Special Licence for Brokering

Individuals wishing to engage in brokering activities for firearms, ammunition and related materials must request a special licence from DIASP, which shall be granted if they comply with the following requirements:

1. Submit the corresponding application form… to DIASP.
2. Be Panamanian by birth or naturalisation.
3. Be older than eighteen years.
4. Submit an authenticated copy of the personal identity card.
5. Not to have been sentenced by a competent court for crimes against life and personal integrity, crimes against liberty, crimes against sexual liberty and integrity, crimes against the family and marital status, crimes against economic property, crimes against collective security, crimes against the State, or crimes against humanity.
6. Pay the fees for the licence.
