Toda persona natural, nacional o extranjera residente, que se encuentre en pleno goce de sus derechos civiles, que cumpla los requisitos previstos en esta Ley y en el reglamento, podrá ser autorizada por el Estado, mediante certificado, para la tenencia de armas de fuego.

Article 36. Possession

All individuals, citizens or foreign residents, who fully enjoy their civil rights, who comply with requirements set in this Act and its regulation, may be authorised by the State, through a certificate, to possess firearms.
