Artículo 10. Tenencia y porte

Se reconoce la facultad del Estado de otorgar la tenencia y porte de armas de fuego, definidas por esta Ley de tenencia lícita, a las personas naturales, nacionales y extranjeras residentes, que se encuentren en pleno goce de sus derechos civiles y cumplan con los requisitos establecidos en esta Ley y su reglamento.

Esta facultad estará restringida a las condiciones establecidas en esta Ley y su reglamento.

Article 10. Possession and Carrying

The State has the power to grant the possession and carrying of firearms, defined by this Act as licit possession, to individuals, citizens and foreign residents, who enjoy their full civil rights and comply with provisions set in this Act and its regulation.

This power shall be restricted to conditions set by this Act and its regulation.
