Legislation governing the use of firearms in Fiji fails to address the use and abuse of firearms to control and overthrow elected governments, Senate heard yesterday.

Introducing the Arms and Ammunition Bill in the Upper House, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata said the Bill would rectify this.
