The PNG Defence Force lacks trained personnel to maintain the current stock of its weapons system, Commander Peter Ilau said. PNGDF commander said soldiers' lives had been put under risk from using weapons that are not being maintained correctly. He said this in his update of the current weapons disposal programme.
