MOSCOW -- 7-8 countries in the world are currently dealing with unlicensed production of machine guns "Kalashnikov", Nikolay Dimidyuk from Rosoboronexport said, cited by Praim-TASS. According to his evaluation there was a total nuisance in the world regarding the production of 'false' Kalashnikov guns, in particular in Bulgaria. 'I will not mention other countries, so as not to offend them. The Americans allowed Bulgaria to build a factory for the production of Kalashnikov and they sell it to Iraq and Afghanistan', Dimidyuk said. YAKIMA -- A Granger man was charged Thursday with stealing a gun from a Yakima gun show last weekend. Froylan Ochoa-Bustamente was being held on $50,000 bail at the Yakima County jail. He also faces one count of being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, plus an immigration hold. Youngsters are going to do some terribly irresponsible, dangerous things at times. The recent tragedy at a South Florida high school, plus two ensuing incidents at other schools, should serve as a reminder that parents who own guns must show extra care and responsibility, because their children may not. There have been three recent incidents involving guns in schools -- the horrible tragedy at Dillard High School involving the shooting death of 15-year-old Amanda Collette, a scare at Walker Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale when an 8-year-old third-grader brought a gun to class, and another involving a 16-year-old at Miramar High who had a gun in a book bag.... The colour sergeant was appearing in front of a warrant officer at Gibraltar Barracks in Blackwater, Surrey. Every year, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives finds thousands of licensed gun dealers in violation of federal law, often for very minor problems. The agency, which conducts about 11,000 inspections a year, says it has come up with a way to eliminate many of those violations before they happen. Instead of filling out the required ATF paperwork by hand, gun buyers and dealers will now be able to complete what officials say is a fail-safe electronic version of the document, known as Form 4473.
